How to Use Your Listenwise Free Account with Students

Here’s an overview of what is included with a free Listenwise teacher account and how you can listen to stories with students.

You have access to our collection of current events podcasts. There are new stories posted every week and include themes like Debates and Weird News. Every story includes Listening Comprehension Questions, which can be used for asynchronous class discussions or asynchronous writing activities.

Student accounts and assignments are not included with Listenwise free, but there are still many ways to listen with your students!

1. Listen together: The easiest way to listen is by listening as a class. Simply play the audio from your teacher account.
2. Listening links: You can also have students access the audio from their devices and listen on their own. Click the Share Audio button on a story to copy and share the link with students. This article provides more info on listening links.
