Creating Your Lingolift Classes

In order to assign Lingolift video lessons to students, you need to create your classes first! This article walks you through this easy process. 

Under the My Classes widget on your dashboard, click Add Class.

You have two options to create classes. The process is the same for both Lingolift and Listenwise, and you have to create separate classes for each product. See below for the appropriate steps for your class.

Import from Google Classroom:

1. Click the Import Google Classroom button on the Manage Classes page for Lingolift.

2. Check all classes you want to import into Lingolift from the list of Google Classrooms that populate on the page.

3. Choose the grade level band for the class.

4. Accept the privacy policy, click Import, and you’re done!

4. When you import your Google Classroom rosters, we automatically create accounts linked to Google for your students. No student class codes or passwords needed!

Create a Class:

1. Click the Add Class button on the Manage Classes page for Lingolift.

2. Choose option #2 and enter a name for your class.

3. Choose the grade level band for the class.

4. Accept the privacy policy, click Create Class, and you’re done!

5. Repeat this process for each class you need to add to Lingolift.

5. Each class you create generates a unique class code (ex: happy-cow-1234). To simplify the student enrollment process, we provide Class Invite Links which include your Class Code. Share this link with students and they won't need to enter your Class Code during the sign up process. Learn more about Class Invite Links here.

Managing Your Rosters
