Assign Collection: This means that you’re assigning a group of 4-6 video lessons on a specific topic for your students to complete. It will look like this in a student’s account:
To assign a collection, go to the collection page and click Assign Collection in the upper right-hand corner of the page:
Assign Video: This means that you’re assigning an individual video lesson for your students to complete. It will look like this in a student’s account:
To assign one Lingolift Video Lesson to students, go to the video lesson and click Assign Video in the upper right-hand corner of the lesson page:
The assigning details are the same for collections and individual Video Lessons:
1. Check off the classes you want to receive this assignment. Under “Assign to,” you can choose to share it with the whole class or individual students within the class.
2. Select a due date, with the option of a due time, as well.
3. If you want to schedule the assignment, select a date and time under “Available Date” and “Available Time.”
4. Lastly, you can post the assignment directly to Google Classroom and have scores sent to your Google gradebook.
