You can either assign a whole collection of 4-6 video lessons or assign individual video lessons. Explanations of the difference are below:
Assign Collection
This means that you’re assigning a group of 4-6 video lessons on a specific topic for your students to complete. It will look like this in a student’s account:
To assign a collection:
1. Go to the collection page and click Assign Collection in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
2. Check off the classes you want to assign the collection to. Under “Assign to,” you can choose to share it with the whole class or individual students within the class.
3. Select a due date, with the option of a due time, as well.
4. If you want to schedule the assignment, select a date and time under “Available Date” and “Available Time.”
5. Lastly, you can post the assignment directly to Google Classroom and have scores sent to your Google grade book. See this article for more about how we score assignments.
Assign Video
This means that you’re assigning an individual video lesson for your students to complete. It will look like this in a student’s account:
To assign one Linglift video lessons to students:
1. Go to the video lesson and click Assign Video in the upper right-hand corner of the lesson page.
2. Check off the classes you want to assign the video lesson to. Under “Assign to,” you can choose to share it with the whole class or individual students within the class.
3. Select a due date, with the option of a due time, as well.
4. If you want to schedule the assignment, select a date and time under “Available Date” and “Available Time.”

To view any assignments you’ve created or make changes to existing assignments, go to your My Library page.
