There are several places on Lingolift to monitor students’ progress. This article will show you where to find each report.
Dashboard Overview Report
This widget on your dashboard shows a snapshot of how your classes are doing across the key data points of the Watch, Learn, Speak instructional sequence. Look at all classes together, or filter to see a specific class.
You’ll also see a total of videos watched, words learned, and lines spoken for the class. Here is what each data point means:
Average Watch Completion: The percentage of assigned video lessons that students completed.
Average Learn Completion: Students’ spelling accuracy when they are asked to fill in the blanks with vocabulary words from the video.
Average Speak Score: Students’ pronunciation accuracy and fluency of the lines they spoke from the video.
Class Summary Report
This report shows the class’s summary data for the Watch, Learn, Speak instructional sequence again, along with summaries for individual students. Click on a student’s name from here to dive into their data.
There are two ways to find this report:
- When looking at one class on the Reports widget on your dashboard, click “View Class Summary Report.”
- Click “See Class Summary Report” on the Classes page.
Student Summary Report
At this level of reporting, you can see one student’s Watch, Learn, Speak data for individual videos. Click on the Watch, Learn, and Speak boxes to see the details for each part. A summary of the data shown is below, but see this article for more information on each part.
Watch: See the percentage of assigned video lessons that students watched.
Learn: See students’ spelling accuracy of the vocabulary words.
Speak: See details on students’ pronunciation and fluency accuracy of the lines they spoke from the video.
There are two ways to find this report:
- From a Class Summary Report, click on a student’s name.
- From any Assignment Status Page, click on a student’s name.
Assignment Status Report
This report gives you a status update on submission status for one class and one assignment. You can also see a summary of students’ performance for Watch, Learn, and Speak here. Click on a student’s name to dive into their detailed report.
There are two ways to find this report:
- From the Tasks widget on your dashboard, click on the assignment to review.
- On the Classes page, click “See Responses.”
