Scoring Written Assignments

Listenwise now offers the ability to score written assignments and export the grades to Google Classroom! This article will walk you through the process.

After reviewing the Comprehension Questions and providing feedback on the Writing Prompt with the Writing Assessor, you have the option to grade the overall assignment (questions, organizers, etc.) with a score of 1 through 5. You have the option to explain your score in the box below it, too.

On the assignment submission status page, there is a "Score" column so that you can see all grades at a glance for the whole class:

If you use Google Classroom, check "Send Scores to Google Classroom" when creating your written assignment. This will add the assignment to your Grade book, and after you score the assignment in Listenwise, the grade will be automatically posted in Google Classroom.
