Can I remove the interactive transcript and slowed audio from assignments?

Yes! You have the option to remove the interactive transcript and listening speed button from assignments.

Written Assignments

You can remove these supports on the Basic Details screen when you are creating a written assignment. The default setting includes the interactive transcript in written assignments. Uncheck the box Allow students to view and download transcript? to remove the transcript from your student’s assignment view:

Quizzes

For quizzes, the default setting is to assess listening only, which means no interactive transcript, slowed audio, and Texthelp toolbar. To include the listening supports, choose Listening & Reading for "comprehension skill."
