Grading Written Assignments

Listenwise now offers the ability to grade written assignments and export scores to Google Classroom! This article will walk you through the process.

Once students submit their work, there is now an "Assignment Score" box where you can leave a score of 1 through 5 when reviewing their answers. Scoring assignments is optional, so you can leave it blank if you want. 

You also have the option of providing written feedback for students, along with a score. 

On the assignment submission status page, there is a "Score" column so that you can see all grades at a glance for the whole class:

If you use Google Classroom, check "Send Scores to Google Classroom" when creating your written assignment. This will add the assignment to your Grade book, and after you score the assignment in Listenwise, the grade will be automatically posted in Google Classroom.
