Native language translation of podcast transcript
If you’re listening to the podcast as a class, you can have the transcript automatically translated into Spanish. Spanish is the only language currently available for translation.
To do so, change the language in your teacher account from English to Spanish. The Spanish translation will replace the interactive transcript below the audio player. Note that the Spanish transcript is not interactive.

If a student is completing an assignment on their own, they can also change the language from English to Spanish to see a Spanish translation of the transcript. Students will find this at the top of their assignment:

Built-in English and picture dictionaries
Within their assignment, students can highlight one word and get an English dictionary definition.
They can also highlight one word to look it up in a picture dictionary.

Adjustable audio speed
The listening speed button (.75) slows down a story’s audio speed by roughly 25%. The slower pace can help students understand more challenging content.
