Native language translation of podcast transcript
If you’re listening to the podcast as a class, you can have the transcript automatically translated into Spanish. Spanish is the only language currently available for translation.
To do so, change the language in your teacher account from English to Spanish. The Spanish translation will replace the interactive transcript below the audio player. Note that the Spanish transcript is not interactive.
You will find this option at the top of the lesson page:

If a student is completing an assignment on their own, they can also change the language from English to Spanish to see a Spanish translation of the transcript. Students will find this at the top of their assignment:

Built-in English and picture dictionaries
Within their assignment, students can highlight one word and get an English dictionary definition.
They can also highlight one word to look it up in a picture dictionary.
If you click the Play button on the pop-up, it will read the selected text aloud!
Adjustable audio speed
This feature slows down a story’s audio speed by roughly 20%. The slower pace can help students understand more challenging content.
