Native language versions of quizzes

When assigning a quiz to students, you can share the quiz in either English or Spanish. This will provide a Spanish translation of the podcast and show the quiz questions in Spanish. The audio will still be in English. Spanish is the only language currently available for translation.

When students take a quiz, they cannot change the language of the quiz. The questions are in Spanish, and you can decide to provide a translated transcript, along with the other listening supports. Here is what the Spanish version of a Listenwise quiz will look like:

The listening speed button allows student to slow down a story’s speed by roughly 25%. The slower pace can help students understand more challenging content.

Audio transcript

You can provide an interactive English transcript so that students can read along as they listen to the podcast. If you share the quiz in Spanish, the Spanish transcript will not be interactive.
